How To Get Rid Of Cellulite On Thighs & Buttocks? – Dr.Berg
In this video, we’re going to talk about how to deal with cellulite on your hips and thighs. People spend so much time in gyms but without any results. Why? The reason is that it is not fat. It is either due to a lack of lymph circulation in the body or muscle atrophy. When your body is low in potassium, your lymph drainage system becomes blocked. This causes lymph to build up in areas and cause cellulite. The daily recommended amount of potassium is 4700 mg. That’s a lot of potassium. Keep in mind that a banana only has about 300 mg of potassium. You would have to have 12 bananas every day to meet this daily value. The truth is, most people aren’t getting enough potassium. The best source of potassium is actually not bananas—it’s vegetables. Consuming 7-10 cups of low-carb vegetables a day is ideal for healthy potassium levels. In turn, this will help you get rid of the excess lymph that causes cellulite. If you have a hard time eating vegetables, drink them! You can bland vegetables into a smoothy and consume them. The other cause of cellulite—especially after menopause—is adrenal fatigue. When you are stressed out, your adrenals can release too much cortisol. In turn, this causes the muscles underneath your skin to atrophy. Start by reducing stress and increasing your potassium and see if that doesn’t help with your cellulite. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio:
